MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- The Summery pattern we're currently experiencing wont have much in the way of change in the short term as high pressure off the southeast U.S. coast sticks around. This will continue to help give us hot afternoons, while the heat and low level moisture will help to spark up isolated to scattered thunderstorms.
Daytime temperatures Wednesday afternoon are expected to range in the low to mid 90s with temps closer to 90 degrees along the coastline. The humidity will make it feel more like 100-105 degrees. Rain coverage will be around 30-40% moving into Wednesday afternoon with highest coverage in the Suwannee River Valley and eastern Big Bend. Late night lows are forecast to range in the low to mid 70s with upper 70s along the coast.
Thursday, rain coverage is expected to be higher with more moisture moving back into the area as a slow moving cold front nears us. Daytime temperatures are still expected to reach the low 90s.
