We’ve got a breezy, cool & sunny day ahead of us on this Wednesday. A cold front plowed through last night, in its wake, northwest winds at 10-20mph with highs in the upper 50s. Tonight, skies stay clear and the wind calms down, that’s a perfect set up for a cold night; lows flirt with freezing by Thursday morning. High pressure gradually takes complete control Thursday through the weekend. What that means for you, tons of sun until Monday with highs baby stepping their way into the middle 70s. Our next chance at rain comes by Monday and Tuesday as another front approaches. At this point it doesn’t look to bring huge rain totals, but we’ll watch it.
Rivers continue to run high, but most are falling. The Suwannee River will work a crest wave through for the rest of the week. Levels are expected to climb another 8 feet between now and the weekend leading to minor or moderate flooding along the length of the Suwannee/Lafayette county line.
Be safe and have a great Wednesday!
