MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A nearby frontal disturbance stretching from New England down to the western Gulf of Mexico is bringing a lot of cloud cover into the area. The chance for light shower activity persists through the morning and early afternoon (40% North Florida, 20% South Georgia) as this large system pushes south and east of us. As we move into the afternoon and evening timeframe, the rain coverage should taper off. Daytime highs will range in the lower to mid 70s with lows tonight into Thursday morning, falling toward 50 degrees or lower.
Thursday afternoon, the sun is expected to become more prominent with highs in the upper 70s and Friday highs are forecast to be near 80 degrees.
Morning lows from Thursday through Sunday are forecast to be in the mid to upper 40s.
