MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Dense fog is covering all of the Big Bend and South Georgia, with the second day of advisories issues by the National Weather Service. We'll see this fog last throughout the morning with temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Highs today are forecast to rise to the mid and upper 70s as mostly cloudy skies are expected to continue. An isolated shower is possible in the later morning and afternoon, with coverage around 20-30%.
Thursday features a cold front finally pushing through the area, bringing scattered showers (40% coverage). Highs will be in the lower to mid 70s with lows dropping sharply, to the lower 40s. Highs Friday afternoon will be cooler with temps in the upper 50s.
Saturday AKA New Year's Eve will feature colder numbers to start, with lows near freezing and highs in the lower 60s. The day will see more cloud cover ahead of another front.
Sunday, will be even warmer with isolated showers possible.
