TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ( WTXL) --

Expect more showers and thunderstorms to move across the area this Wednesday, due to a low pressure system to the west of us, sending a few weak impulses this way. We will see mostly cloudy skies, with rain chances up to 40% in the afternoon and a high temp of 89 degrees. Thursday will be the same as today. Heading into Friday, rain and thunderstorm chances will increase to 50% across the region, with a high of 90. The weekend looks like it will be partly sunny for the start of both days, with afternoon showers and thunderstorms and high temps varying between the upper 80’s and low 90’s. Monday will be partly sunny; a tad drier with rain chances around 30% and a high of 90. Tuesday looks partly sunny, with light scattered showers and a high of 91.

Happy Wednesday!
