TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Expect the weather pattern to stay a bit active for the next couple days allowing for temps to become more bearable. A frontal system dragging into the Deep South will activate more showers and storms starting in the late morning turning widespread in the afternoon. Conditions this morning are warm and muggy in the mid 70s. By the early afternoon, temps will top off in the low 90s. Expect a similar set up tomorrow with mid 70s in the morning and highs only nearing 90° by the afternoon with increased storm coverage. Scattered storms stick with us through Sunday as temps slowly creep back to the mid 90s for the weekend. High pressure will dissolve the lingering front by 4th of July turning storm threats to more isolated in nature and temps heating to the upper 90s with more generous sunshine.
