Storm Team Wednesday Morning Forecast (3/12/14)

Posted

The heaviest of the rain is to the east of our area this morning. We will still have mostly cloudy skies and the chance for a few scattered showers as a cold front moves through this afternoon. One of the bigger factors in today’s forecast is the wind. Even though we will be well above average with a high temp of 80 degrees, winds will be blowing out of the West around 20mph with some stronger gusts nearing 30mph. Tomorrow morning will feel much cooler, with mostly clear skies and temps starting off in the low 40’s. We will see plenty of sunshine Thursday and Friday with temps in the low to mid 60’s. By Saturday, we’re back in the low 70’s with partly cloudy skies and a rain chance of 30%. This trend of clouds, a little sun, showers and temps in the 70’s will stay with us all the way till Tuesday of next week due to a stalled front.

Enjoy the warmth this afternoon and happy Wednesday!
