Storm Team Wednesday Morning Forecast (6/25/14)

Posted

We will continue to be in a westerly flow for today and see some seabreeze activity in the afternoon hours once again. Rain chances will be higher around our costal areas, lower chances just to our north in South Georgia. Some thunderstorms may have heavy rain, frequent lightning, and some gusty winds. Afternoon temperatures will also be warmer today in the mid 90’s with some heat indices in the triple digits. Thursday and Friday will be a bit of the same, with a few more showers possible on Friday. Saturday and Sunday will be hot days with afternoon high temps around 96 degrees. We can also expect to see afternoon seabreeze activity over the weekend. Rain chances will bump up slightly on Monday and Tuesday, with partly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 90’s.

Happy Wednesday!
