Another summer day is on tap for North Florida and South Georgia. A warm start in the mid 70s will lead to an afternoon high in the low 90s. Temperatures in the upper 80s are possible along the coastline. Winds will be coming in from the west and the southwest this afternoon, pushing moisture from the Gulf of Mexico onshore. There is a 50% chance of seeing scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the late morning to early evening hours. After sunset, most of the shower and storm activity should diminish. An area of low pressure will move into our local area tomorrow, and will aid in the production of showers and thunderstorms. Rain chances will be maintained at the 50-60% range all weekend as this system stalls out over the North Florida. More warm summer days are in store for the rest of the week, with afternoon temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Don't forget your umbrella each afternoon!
