TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - We're making up for a cooler than average November with a streak of mild air continuing into the early portions of this month. Highs to begin December clipped the 80° mark and I think we come rather close today with temps rebounding into the upper 70s by the afternoon. This, after a foggy, mild start in the mid 50s. Stagnant air persists through the end of the work week so expect more foggy mornings with temps in the mid 50s. Highs continue to climb steadily into the upper 70s. By the weekend, we usher in a frontal system that will elevate our rain chances slightly. Isolated showers are possible for the afternoon and evening hours on your weekend. Temps slowly tick downward with highs over the weekend getting into the mid 70s, which is still several degrees above average. By Tuesday next week, the front eases to the southeast allowing for cooler, drier air to work its way into the region. Temps fall back to normal with highs in the upper 60s.
