Strong to severe storms will be with us on and off today. Heavy rain and strong damaging winds are the main concern. There is still a chance for an isolated tornado. A cold front will move through later today and into Thursday bringing us some lingering showers. Expect to see mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers Thursday afternoon with a high of 80. Much cooler air will be here on Friday, along with another round of showers, due to another shortwave trough moving through the region; high temps will only reach 71 degrees. We will have mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers on Saturday, with a high of 84. Sunday through Tuesday looks dry for now, with a highs back in the mid to upper 80’s.
Have a safe and dry Wednesday!
