MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- The dry pattern that continues to stay over our region will continue to allow temperatures to fall to the mid and upper 40s to lower 50s. Daytime highs will also easily rebound to the upper 70s today with plentiful sunshine. This is all due to a strong ride of high pressure in control over the southeastern U.S. and it will stay steady, though it will start pushing east into Thursday and Friday.
Thursday, is the day of the 3rd Annual Turkey Drive, and it will start off similarly to today with lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s and highs possibly reaching 80 degrees. Friday will be virtually the same for the temperature spread. Into Saturday, clouds will increase due to an approaching front, and highs are forecast to be in the mid to upper 70s after lows start in the mid 50s.
For the weekend, the strong front is expected to cross the area, bringing windy conditions and likely the coldest air of the season. Sunday morning is forecast to have lows in the lower 40s with highs approaching 70 degrees. Monday morning is expected to bring upper 30s.
No rain is expected from today through the middle of next week.
