TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Expect conditions to warm up over the next several days. Much of the same today with a breeze coming off the First Coast courtesy of the developing low off near Miami. That low pressure center could develop into a subtropical or even tropical system over the next several days, though it'll continue to drift to the north-northeast and stay and have virtually no local impact. However, winds will eventually shift out of the northwest as it drifts away from us ushering in hotter, drier air which will boost temps into the holiday weekend. As for your midweek, comfortable temps early on in the low to mid 60s and by the afternoon upper 80s return to the picture. A few showers are possible especially in our eastern counties, but just like yesterday, they'll be light and brief. A similar story for Thursday and Friday, though low 90s are possible as a weak dome of high pressure build in locally. Low to mid 90s are expected over the weekend as the skies clear up and we wrap around some dry air from that departing low pressure system.
