MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Shower and storm coverage today is generally isolated, and confined to the seabreeze boundary near the coast, plus spotty development around the tri-state region. Spotty pockets of rain are forecast to move west to northwest, and a source of evening showers may impact some counties near I-75. Otherwise, rain events will be limited in number and strength late tonight, and the sky will generally clear by sunrise. Lows will reach the mid 70s, with highs returning to the low to mid 90s with enough morning sunshine and trigger scattered cloud formation and the renewed chance for some of us to get in on afternoon and rain action. Development chances will decrease over the weekend with a wedge of higher pressure in the area. Temperatures will be slightly above average through this period. Current tropical activity in the Atlantic will have no impact on the local pattern through the next five days.
