MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Fewer showers and storms are present, so impacts from heavy rain will be limited to select few locations in southwest Georgia, and perhaps in parts of the Suwannee Valley later this evening.  Higher pressure is building near and over the area Thursday and Friday, suppressing the daily thunderstorm cycle to an isolated category tomorrow afternoon.  Outside of any areas of clouds and rain, temperatures will steadily climb into the mid 90s in many areas by afternoon.  Lows tonight will be in the low to mid 70s.  The high pressure system will weaken by the weekend, with a cold front dissipating in the Deep South but reactivating the formation of showers and storms in a broader sense.  Temperatures by then will return to near average.
