MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Another batch of thunderstorms is set to develop through the mid-evening hours, some of which containing locally heavy rain and some gusty conditions.  Western zones near the Apalachicola River may encounter these storms earlier than areas near the Suwannee River, but any interactions between individual thunderstorm cells can create some quick intensification and possible bouts of severe weather elements.  Showers and storms wind down late tonight as the sky partially clear, leading to lows in the low to mid 70s.  More daytime thunderstorms will form with the heating of the day Thursday.  Highs will reach the low to mid 90s again before rain becomes more numerous.  Limited changes are foreseen through the weekend, with a chance for afternoon scattered showers and storms possible each day.
