MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Scattered clouds have been supported by southerly winds and an increase in moisture levels, but with still a mainly stable atmosphere in place, shower activity is unlikely this evening. The extra moisture will prevent much cooling overnight; lows will fall into the low to mid 60s, and some low temps may be achieved shortly after midnight. A cold front will move northeast through the Deep South states Thursday, only capable of triggering a few scattered showers or storms, mainly in the Three Rivers region and the Flint River valley, with limited potency overall. But, an isolated stronger storm is possible by afternoon for those counties. Highs will reach into the mid 80s. Even hotter conditions are likely by the weekend with upper-level high pressure taking hold before Monday's cold front and associated rain chances.
