Storm Team Wednesday evening forecast (08/10/2016)

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Periods of rain continue to reach many locations within the viewing region, but the intensity has slacked off, allowing a slower accumulation of rain for the evening.  A Flood Watch remains up for several Big Bend counties, including Leon and Wakulla, through Thursday morning, for the concern about additional heavy rain chances over saturated areas.  The disturbance that triggered the current wet pattern will continue to drift to the west and carry more of the heavy rain threat with it.  We will transition back to more of an afternoon-focused scattered shower and thunderstorm pattern with decreased coverage of rain overall.  However, isolated storms may contain strong gusts and localized downpours as we approach the weekend.  Lows tonight will fall to the mid 70s, and some areas will break into the 90s Thursday with a little more sunshine, especially for eastern counties.
