MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Rain coverage this afternoon and evening will be decreased from previous nights, as an earlier wave of unsettled weather cast extra cloudiness around. A few isolated showers or a brief storm may still impact the I-75 region this evening, with a late shower or storm in western counties, but overall rain opportunities will be limited and scarce. Lows tonight will drop into the low to mid 70s with considerable leftover moisture and scattered clouds. Thursday, a bubble of higher pressure over the Gulf will gain a greater influence on regional weather, reducing rain chances a bit and causing temperatures to climb well into the mid 90s away from the beaches. We’ll experience a string of highs in the mid and even some upper 90s into the weekend with isolated shower and storm potential. There will be no tropical hassles forthcoming, though.
