Storm Team Wednesday evening forecast (04/01/2015)

Posted

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

A few clouds are building in eastern areas, where a few evening showers or isolated thunder are possible.  Otherwise, scattered clouds are forecast to thin by late tonight, allowing temperatures to fall to the upper 50s to lower 60s with light wind overnight.  There is enough moisture to support patches of fog in the early morning hours.  Shower chances become more isolated Thursday and Friday with a brief appearance of a Gulf upper high system, forcing the corridor of unsettledness farther north.  Highs will reach the mid 80s Thursday with only a couple of showers or storms possible, then the rain chance reduces itself to near zero Friday with mid and upper 80s during the day.  A cold front Saturday will renew shower potential for a day, then provide a cooler and mostly sunny Easter Sunday.  Temperatures rebound to very warm levels next week with hit-or-miss showers.
