MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Scattered showers amid a cloudy sky is the expectation for the evening. Severe thunderstorms are not in the forecast, as the disturbance triggering the current shower action is projected to remain south of the region through tonight. Lows will reach near 60° as showers become less numerous after sunrise Thursday. Partial clearing is likely, especially in western counties, with diminished shower coverage overall along the Suwannee valley. Highs will depend on the amount of sunshine received, but will range from the upper 70s to lower 80s. Friday will be quite warm with more sunshine, then a transition to a brief cool spell begins Saturday with a cold front. Patchy clouds and limited rain opportunities will accompany the front.
