Storm Team Wednesday evening forecast (12/03/2014)

Posted

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

A persistent pattern of morning fog, above-average readings, and partly cloudy afternoons will remain in place for Thursday.  Areas of early fog will become locally dense, lowering visibilities to less than one mile in some spots.  The overall stable nature of the atmosphere will prevent widespread showers from forming, but a rogue, brief sprinkle can't be ruled out east of Interstate 75 in the afternoon.  Lows will fall to the mid 50s, and highs Thursday will make another run through the 70s and toward 80°.  This warmer stretch will likely continue through the weekend, then a little more northern influence will drive a cold front closer to the area early next week.  Slightly higher coverage of showers is forecast, then a drop in temperatures toward average again.
