MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The latest area of high pressure is sliding right into the area, and it will keep our weather conditions stable and quiet for the remainder of this work week. A few scattered clouds have formed with the daytime heating, but we’ll return to a clear trend for the mid-evening time frame through most of tomorrow. The dry nature of the air mass, plus the light to calm winds, will allow for rapid cooling after sunset. Lows by dawn Thursday will bottom out in the lower 40s in most areas away from the coast. Full sunshine will warm the atmosphere to near-average levels in the mid and upper 70s. Rain will be absent from the outlook, allowing for maximum evaporation of the leftover moisture from this week’s heavy rainfall. A few more clouds will roll in by the weekend, but a rain or storm threat doesn’t present itself until Monday at the earliest.
