MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Aside from a few upper-level thin clouds, the nighttime sky will feature clearness, and the air will cool down with the support of light winds and rather dry air.  Overnight lows will fall into the upper 30s to low 40s, with mid 40s likely near the coast.  The present high-pressure ridge will steadily scoot to the east, initiating a south wind that will provide moisture ahead of the next cold front that will trigger showers late in the evening.  Thursday afternoon highs will be in the low to mid 70s, perhaps closer to 80° along the Suwannee River.  Most local rain chances peak before sunrise Friday.  Any showers and rain will be light in general and non-severe.  The pattern will provide another sun-filled weekend with seasonably mild readings.
