MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
High, thin clouds from earlier today will thicken later this evening and tonight in advance of an overnight cold front passage. Scattered showers will form before the boundary clears the region. A slight chance for a thunderstorm or two exists, especially north of the state line. However, local impacts from any stronger or severe storms are not expected with this disturbance. Lows will be milder tonight, around 60°, before the cold front brings in drier air and a clearing trend for the daylight hours. Highs will still be a bit on the warm side, near 80°. The upper pattern will support a stretch of dry days through the weekend, with yet another cold front late Friday creating a chillier temp regime for the mornings Saturday and Sunday. Afternoon readings will also be a few degrees cooler than usual for this time in the season.
