MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Isolated showers or storms are possible late this afternoon through the mid-evening hours, faintly supported by a modest seabreeze and considerable heating from the day. A nearby upper-level high pressure system will keep a cap on excessive storminess for the next couple of days while triggering a further increase in the daytime temperature trends. West winds may limit the moisture slightly, but they will also shove readings closer to 100° in some cases. Thursday's highs will range from around 90° at the beach to the upper 90s around the state line region. Lows tonight will drop to the mid 70s. Rain development each afternoon through the weekend will be spotty, but briefly and locally heavy with an outside chance for a strong storm.
