MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Moisture from nearby bodies of water is influencing the increased amount of clouds in the region, as well as the milder forecast temperatures at night. Also, some upper-level cloudiness is hovering overhead, filtering the sunshine earlier today. A mix of clouds and clearer sky is forecast tonight with light winds that may go calm. Patchy fog is possible on Thanksgiving morning, with lows in the low 50s. Clouds will partially break through the morning and afternoon; highs will still manage to rise through the 70s and peak near 80° for locations away from the beaches. A weak front will clip our region supporting the extra clouds, but not enough strength for major rain chances. A second front arrives late Friday or early Saturday, which will promote a brief cool-down for the remainder of the holiday weekend. Isolated shower chances do exist with the second front. Better chances for rain remain in the picture for the middle of next week.
