Scattered showers and storms, some occasionally strong to severe, will begin to wind down late tonight, leaving patchy cloud cover, warmth, and moisture. Lows will fall to the mid 70s. Another round of showers, rain, and storms is likely to develop Thursday after just a few hours of heating, and a few cases of intense weather and severe storms are possible again. Highs will still manage to climb into the mid 90s. A cold front will approach by Friday, and its presence may spread more clouds around, increase rain chances, and lower high temperatures.
