MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Areas of rain will move gradually eastward through the evening, with the heaviest rain possible in the Apalachicola River region through tomorrow morning.  Accumulations may exceed two inches in these zones, with lesser amounts toward the Suwannee River.  Persistent cloudiness and occasional rain can be expected through most of the next 36 hours before a gradual end to the damp pattern as the weekend approaches.  Lows tonight will be in the 60s, while highs will stay mainly in the 60s in south Georgia with a northeast, cooler wind flow.  North Florida highs will range from around 70° at the state line to upper 70s in the southeastern Big Bend.  Thunderstorms will be confined to coastal and offshore areas, with little to no severe weather occurrences projected.
