MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Enough dry air penetrated through the atmosphere to allow the quick departure of the morning clouds, leading to bright, full sunshine today.  Some degree of low cloudiness will return as temps slip back into the 50s overnight.  This will create areas of patchy, possibly dense fog as a slight amount of moisture remains at ground level.  A lack of wind in the morning may enhance fog areas.  A south and southwest wind flow will be established ahead of the next cold front; for Thursday, this means a few more scattered clouds mixed with the sunshine, and warmer highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s.  Rain chances with the front are limited and confined to areas near the Chattahoochee/Apalachicola river zone.  Otherwise, spotty clouds will stretch into early Friday before a good deal of sun is experienced for the upcoming weekend.  Morning temps are likely to be chilly in the 40s, and highs may be stuck in the 60s for some.  We will monitor increasing thunderstorm chances for the Southeast, honing in on next Tuesday.
