Storm Team Wednesday evening forecast (08/05/2015)

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

The pattern is supporting scattered thunderstorms, but nothing of major, widespread intensity.  Typical late-day showers and thunder will moving mainly to the northeast rather progressively, so it's unlikely we'll experience prolonged periods of heavy rain.  Leftover clouds and moisture will slow the cooling process tonight.  Minimum temps will only reach the middle 70s, but the sky will be clearer in most cases.  We'll hit the "reset" button on the weather conditions Thursday, with building clouds and areas of rain and thunder by afternoon.  Highs will peak in the lower 90s, with mid 90s in a few spots.  A disturbance will enter the Tennessee Valley, sliding southeastward, and will likely spread additional clouds, showers, and thunderstorms into the region Friday and parts of Saturday.
