MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
We remain mild this evening with scattered cloud cover and limited rain potential until late tonight through Thursday morning, as a thin band of showers and rain, and a couple of thunderstorms, approaches from the west. This is triggered by a cold front that has caused severe weather in the Midwest, but not much, if any, of that will impact the local region. Isolated storms in interior south Georgia may produce some gusty winds, but the overall severe weather risk is quite low tonight. Lows will fall to around 60°. Showers will push eastward through the morning, and clouds will be slow to break as north winds usher in a cooler trend. Highs will rise to the mid 60s to near 70°. Upper clouds will mix in with increasing sun through the end of the week; mornings will be chilly, but closer to average, and highs will also resemble near-average levels through the weekend.
