MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

As a low-pressure system further develops off the Florida east coast and may become the year's first named storm later this week, the region will remain west of the circulation.  This will create a dry, hot trend for the end of the week which is likely to stretch through the weekend.  An isolated daytime shower can't be ruled out, especially if a seabreeze forms near the coast, but the overall set-up will not favor high opportunities for shower or thunderstorm activity.  Tonight's lows will fall into the low to mid 60s with a clearer sky, and highs may reach 90° away from the coast.  More lower 90s are forecast in the afternoons through Sunday, with some interior sections possibly making a run for the mid 90s.  This would be the hottest streak since early October last year.
