A cold front in south Georgia still has a small chance to contribute an isolated shower or storm to some interior locations this evening, but most areas will get through without major inclement conditions. Hot afternoon temperatures will give way to increasing clouds and shifting winds overnight which will allow lower high temperatures for Thursday with periodic cloudiness. Lows tonight will reach the upper 50s and lower 60s, and highs rise to the mid 70s tomorrow with stronger east winds. The cool-down is temporary, but the cloud-and-sun mix will be common for many in the next few days. Unsettledness with storms will reach the Deep South over the weekend, but local impacts are forecast to be indirect and mainly in the form of clouds and occasional rain coverage, especially Sunday.
