MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Persistent cloud cover is starting to thin and clear out, which will lead to a clearer sky overnight. Earlier sprinkles and light rain have moved offshore and not likely to return. Lows will fall to the mid 40s north to lower 50s south and coast. Occasional upper clouds will blend in with increasing sunshine Thursday afternoon as temperatures reach slightly above average in the mid to upper 70s. Another wave in the upper atmosphere will approach late Friday; it should remain mostly sunny to partly cloudy before its arrival as temperatures warm up. The associated cold front will push readings lower again for the weekend with a mix of sun and clouds. The next best opportunity for showers will come around Tuesday with a relatively minor disturbance.
