MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Like previous evenings, scattered cloud cover will start thinning and diminishing later tonight as temperatures slowly decline into the 70s, falling to lows in the low and mid 60s with patchy fog by sunrise. The anticipated upper high-pressure system makes a closer approach Thursday, placing a cap on significant cloud development and pushing rain chances to zero. The result of the high and the sunshine is maximum temps breaking into the middle 90s. Even coastal areas should get closer to the 90° mark. Friday will be equally as hot. Over the Memorial Day weekend, a minor disturbance moving in from the northeast will help to bust the hot trend and provide a possibility for scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
