MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Another round of freezing temperatures are on tap for the early morning hours, influenced by nearby high pressure and lighter winds in a very dry air mass. Freeze Warnings will be up for most local counties, as subfreezing temps may last between two and ten hours. The longest duration will occur in interior, rural locations. Eventual lows will reach between 26° and 32° before quickly rebounding to the 60s for highs under a mostly sunny sky and a wind shift from the south and southwest. The milder trend is only temporary, since a cold front late Friday will usher in the next dose of chilly air after producing scattered clouds and isolated showers. Sunshine and breezes will greet you over the weekend, then another system arrives by Monday and Tuesday with apparently higher chances for rain.
