MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

The sky remains mostly clear heading into the evening and night ... but the weather pattern for the upcoming Easter weekend is still anything but clear.  We're back in a warming, moistening trend, driven by southerly winds around a departing high-pressure system.  A strong low over the central Plains will swing eastward through Thursday, bringing areas of clouds, rain, and active storms to the Deep South.  We'll remain on the fringe of this action for most of Thursday, with thickening cloudiness through the afternoon and mild temperatures.  Lows will start in the 50s, and highs will make an approach toward 80°, especially in the southeast Big Bend.  Local impacts from rain and a few thunderstorms are most likely by late Thursday through early Friday.  This starts an unsettled trend of intermittent rain and storm activity that will stretch through Sunday, with minor concerns for isolated severe storms.
