MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Thursday's sunshine will be slightly faded by a veil of clouds, mostly mid- and upper-level clouds, the beginning of a cloudier and more-unsettled trend that will eventually feature rain chances. The next 24 hours will remain dry, however. Lows tonight will fall into the upper 30s to near 40°. We should experience enough sunlight to warm back into the 60s, only slowed a little bit by the increasing cloudiness. Thicker clouds are expected for Friday, but the next best rain chance will hold off until Saturday as a low-pressure system tracks across the Gulf coast region from the west. Few thunderstorms are possible, but conditions may remain a bit on the cool side to keep the most active storms away from the region. Off-and-on rain opportunities will have to be dealt with in the days leading into Christmas Eve.
