MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Upper- and mid-level high pressure, plus a dry setup with west and northwest winds, have boosted daytime temps well into the 90s away from coastal areas. Another hot afternoon is expected Thursday with little change in the overall pattern. The sky will be clear, but more high cloudiness may filter in by Thursday afternoon. Forecast lows fall toward 60° in most cases tonight, and highs will return to the low to mid 90s. Additional clouds will influence a lowering of Friday afternoon temps ahead of a disturbance that may generate scattered showers and a few storms at times Saturday. The system departs in time for a dry, warm Mother's Day Sunday, a trend that continues through early next week.
