MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
In general, we won't have any drastic changes through Friday in the forecast pattern. Areas of higher pressure will be draped over the region, including the return of upper-atmospheric ridging that will further limit the daily thunderstorm cycle, and help boost afternoon readings deep into the 90s. Occasional wind flow from the Gulf will add moisture to the region, and may lend support to an isolated late-day shower over the weekend. Higher chances for scattered showers and storms return early next week with a nearby front along the Atlantic coast and the breakdown of the high pressure systems. In the near term, lows tonight will dip again into the mid and upper 60s inland, and around 70° at the shore. Highs range from low 90s coast to upper 90s interior for Thursday. Feels-like temperatures will approach 100° tomorrow, and exceed that level Friday and Saturday.
