MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Only a few isolated showers have formed late today from the heating, allowing some clouds to build and develop into rainmakers. Most rainy spots will move east, be mainly brief, with a few occasions of lightning and thunder. Areas impacted by rain will be temporarily cooler, while rain-free areas will remain very hot and steamy through the evening. Scattered clouds and warmth linger overnight with lows in the middle 70s. There’s nothing that would trigger widespread rain action for Thursday, except for a few isolated showers and storms around mid to late afternoon. Highs will range from around 90° coast to upper 90s inland. A little more moisture with a better onshore flow toward the end of the week will help promote additional showers later this week, but nothing overwhelming. A few thunderstorms can be strong for a short amount of time. Tropical Storm Bertha has transitioned out of its tropical phase in the north Atlantic, and there are no other systems to follow it in the next couple of days.
