MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The effects of a northeast flow and a bit of a drier atmosphere around us has kept excessive clouds at bay, and isolated shower action confined to near the mouth of the Apalachicola River. Evening rain chances will remain very low, with breaks in the clouds on occasion. Temperatures will fall back into the 70s this evening, with lows in the upper 60s interior and around 70° south and coast. Rain coverage Thursday will remain a bit on the low side, as the northeast and north flow continues, and perhaps is strengthened a bit by a disturbance in the western Atlantic. Highs will make a run toward the mid 80s, but periods of cloudiness will still be produced by the broad upper low to the west. The rest of the week's pattern will only vary slightly from what we have now. However, a surge of tropical moisture may reach the region by early next week.
