MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The region of high pressure over the Eastern Seaboard is lessening its grip on the local weather pattern. Areas of upper clouds have streamed in from the west, connected to wet and stormy conditions in the Mississippi Valley. Our wind flow has been shifting, becoming more southeast and southerly, which is drawing in additional moisture from nearby bodies of water. More clouds will fill the sky through tomorrow, producing partial cloudiness and milder morning conditions. Lows will reach around 60°, and Thursday's highs will still rebound to the low to mid 80s. Isolated showers and thunder may form in the late-afternoon, especially for western coastal zones. Broader rain coverage and scattered thunderstorms are possible Friday when the Deep South cold front approaches. Sunshine returns for the weekend time frame, but temperatures will remain slightly above average.
