Pockets of rain, locally heavy at times, and a few thunderstorms will lurk around the state line region through this evening, eventually diminishing by late tonight and leaving scattered cloud cover through Thursday morning. Lows will be in the low to mid 70s. Periods of sunshine will be most common in the morning before afternoon showers and storms redevelop. Ample moisture will create chances for heavy downpours once again. Highs will range from the mid 80s near the coast to around 90° inland, where storms may arrive late in the day. We will still experience an active rain formation cycle through Friday and Saturday, with a slight dip in overall rain coverage and chances by Sunday.
