MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Scattered storms are still possible throughout the evening on Wednesday as a very moist air mass sticks over the region. Low pressure will help pull moisture from the Gulf, supporting the rain. This trend continues into Thursday and Friday with widespread thunderstorms possible. Rain coverage will range in the 60-70% range through the end of the work week. Morning lows are expected to be in the mid to upper 70s with the warmest temperatures along the Big Bend coast. Forecast highs will range in the upper 80s to lower 90s all across the Big Bend and South Georgia.
For the weekend, the rain coverage is still expected to be hefty, with 50% through Sunday. Forecast highs are expected to rebound back to near the mid 90s for that time frame.
