MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Spots of showers and thunder will remain in the forecast through the next two days, but with the advancement of a cold front into southern Georgia today, rain chances will be generally confined to north Florida and around the state line for the remainder of the week. A moderate amount of dry air will limit rain production in interior south and middle Georgia, but the dry air will struggle to impact the entire viewing region. The front itself is likely to stall across the northern Gulf and still provide a focus for scattered but numerous showers and occasional thunderstorms near coastal zones into the weekend. Tonight’s lows will be in the lower 70s north to mid 70s south, and highs tomorrow recover into the upper 80s south to low and mid 90s inland. The tropics remain rather inactive through the next couple of days.
