Storm Team Wednesday evening forecast (01/21/2015)

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Temperatures got a boost today as the cold front was slower to pass through, but it is currently making progress and it should allow areas of clear sky for the night and readings cooling down into the mid 40s to around 50°.  Rain chances are basically at zero with the current system, but rather quickly Thursday, clouds will increase and thicken.  Highs will be mild, in the upper 60s, but the upper wind pattern combined with a strengthening low-pressure disturbance in the western Gulf will raise the coverage of showers, rain, and even a few thunderstorms for most of Friday.  A cool surge will occur this weekend, with a clearing trend Saturday and mostly sunny sky Sunday.  It'll be cooler than average in most cases for early next week.
