MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The pattern of isolated late-day showers and thunderstorms forming near and along the seabreeze boundary is underway, so spotty downpours, briefly gusty winds, and frequent lightning will impact areas that experience this sort of development. The more inland you are, the less likely we'll have heavy rain or thunder. These isolated to widely scattered storms will diminish late tonight, transitioning to a partly cloudy to mostly clear trend overnight. Lows fall into the mid to low 70s. Abundant sun will cause quick warming Thursday morning, with afternoon highs reaching the middle 90s again as clouds and the seabreeze form and create another batch of scattered rain and storms, especially in northern Florida counties. A modest front comes closer to the region this weekend, enhancing the development of showers and thunder while lowering daytime temps a notch.
