MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The weather pattern will become rather slow to change, with high pressure to the east along with an upper ridge building over the Gulf region. These features will maintain a milder temperature regime for the area, along with days of ample sunshine and mornings with patchy fog. Lows will reach the upper 40s to low 50s tonight, and highs rise back into the 70s Thursday afternoon. Limited movement of the high-pressure areas through the weekend will mean an ongoing consistent trend of afternoon sunshine with few clouds and above-average temperatures. A few locations may try to touch 80° over the weekend and early next week before the next cold front approaches around a week from now.
